You see, the tracking center monitors hundreds of securities--tick by tick--and alerts you with a visual or sound alert on your screen triggered by your trading systems, indicators, drawing tools, or any other study. In fact, TradeStation 2000i will monitor the markets and alert you in a host of ways. With a visual and sound alerts if your at your computer, or through your pager if your on the move, or even through e-mail if you choose. The bottom line is, with TradeStation 2000i's Tracking Center, you'll always have the ability to know what is happening in the markets, no matter where you are.

TradeStation 2000i's Tracking Center will even keep track of your buy/sell orders and protective stops, tell you when you've reached your profit target, and track your open position profit and loss for you. You'll be able to sort and colour code columns to customise your display any way you like. And you can even choose to filter the information you view. So if you'd like to view only alerts for one symbol for example, you can easily customise your view to only show you information for that symbol. At any time, you'll be able to change your view to show alerts for a certain symbol, or an analysis technique, or any other combinations you choose.

The Alerts tab will list all indicator, study and drawing tool alerts that have been triggered. Maybe a trendline you drew on IBM has just been broken, or perhaps your custom ShowMe study has just marked a certain chart pattern you've been waiting for. In either case, the information will instantly appear listed in the Alerts tab.

The Active Orders tab will list all new market orders generated by your trading systems that are waiting to be filled by market activity (i.e. limit or stop orders). The Open Positions tab will list all current long or short positions held by systems currently being monitored.

And once, an order has been filled by market activity, TradeStation 2000i will move it from the Active Order tab to the Filled Order list. For example, if your system generated an order to buy 100 shares of Microsoft at 135 or lower, the moment Microsoft trades at or below 135, this order would be moved from the Active Order tab to the Filled Order tab.

TradeStation 2000i's Tracking center is your trading assistant, allowing you to track the markets and implement your winning trading strategies faster and easier than ever before.
